Some of the most noticeable enhancements on the new IdeaPad S10-2 netbook are the bigger keyboard, larger touch-pad, and improved battery life. The new keyboard is now 90% of the size of a standard keyboard. The battery lasts up to 6 hours which is 30% longer than in the previous model.
The S10-2 also features 10.1-inch screen, 3 USB ports, 3G connectivity, Dobly headphone technology, built-in webcam, and a lot more. It also includes Lenovo’s Quickstart technology and OneKey Rescue System. Windows XP Home is the OS. Powering up the new unit is an Intel Atom 270 processor with 1GB DDR2 memory, and 160GB hard drive.
It will available by the end of May with its price beginning at $349. By the way, you choose the color of the cover. Just pick from gray, pink, white or black.
