Motorola to Produce Second Android Phone

Rumors, rumors! That seems to be the case with the second edition of the phone that runs on Google’s Android operating system. Since the launch of the first Android phone under the HTC brand, it has always been thought that the succeeding Android phones will come from the same manufacturer. But now, everyone who thought that is being put to shame because reports say that Motorola will be producing the next Android phone and that it will have the same G1 branding.

According to rumors, the phone in question is the G1 v2 Bigfoot which is expected to go to T-Mobile in the Fall. We don’t really know the reason behind the retention of the G1 name since it will be produced by a different phone maker.

A lot of pictures of the phone in question is circulating the internet and many are saying that it has the Motorola design stamped all over it. I, however, disagree. At first glance I thought it was an HTC phone, the shape and design of the face look pretty much like other HTCs., it’s only when you slide the keypad open that the Motorola identity is revealed. But only a bit, mind you!

all they would have to do is show us the port for the power plug and we could determine who the manufacturer is.

as it stands right now, i'm leaning towards photoshop.
