Have you ever seen a transparent phone? No? Well, you’ll soon see LG GD900 in stores as it will go on sale in many countries soon. LG has already revealed a prototype of this model at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009 in Barcelona, Spain and officially exhibit the LG-GD900 at the CTIA in Las Vegas last month. Hard to believe that it’s a transparent phone? Well, look at the picture. So, ok, the only transparent part of the phone is the slide-out keypad. For emphasis, this keypad is illuminated. It’s quite an attractive innovation if you ask me.

And, the LG-GD900 is not merely for show. It has exciting capabilities like handwriting recognition and haptic feedback. It recognizes gestures for example, if you write the letter M, the MP3 player automatically gets launched. Aside from that, the LG-GD900 has a 3-inch multitouch touchscreen and 7.2Mbps HSDPA support.

Cool and different phone, wonder how much it will cost and which operators will have it first?
