iPod, iPod, and more iPods! This is the name that many people say when it comes to music players. Nothing that can be done about that since it is the most popular these days. But then, if you want to dare to be different, you can go for Philips’ GoGear Spark music player. It’s distinct from any music player, specially the iPod. This square-shaped MP3 player doesn’t have any visible buttons in front. The control buttons are the sides of the screen. As you press on the screen’s sides, you’ll see the display on the 1.46-inch OLED color screen. Through it you’ll see the album art and display pictures.

Although the GoGear Spark MP3 player is not as good-looking as the iPod, it provides excellent sound quality. Philips furnished it with FullSound audio refinement system which enhanced the quality of low-bitrate songs and prevent them from sounding sharp or harsh.

There are models to choose from. There a 2, 4, and 8GB offering with price range of £39.99 to £59.99. An extra £5 is needed if you want an added FM radio feature. The first two models are available already, while the 8GB model won’t be until May.
