Are you familiar with the Dell Latitude XFR D630? Well, you have to get acquainted with its predecessor, the E6400 XFR. The latest model has improvements that you can’t find in any other laptop. The most amazing is the 14-inch screen made with touch capability. Its processing power comes from the Intel Core 2 Duo and is complemented graphics card. It supports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 120GB of hard drive storage. The new E6400 XFR laptop has Wi-Fi, 3G mobile broadband, and GPS antenna. It operates with Windows Vista.
This latest creation by Dell is not dainty or streamlined like other models they have. This unit is built to be as tough as it can be. In fact, Dell claims that it can survive drops of up to 4 feet or 48 inches. It can also withstand high-pressure water sprays. The screen doesn’t get damaged easily because the LCD screen floats a little bit within the LCD cover so shocks and impacts do not make much difference.
The target market for this new and rugged laptop is military personnel and first responders. It’s already available for $4,299 in the U.S., Canada, and selected countries in Europe.
It's very expensive, I'd rather get a new laptop each time instead of putting almost $5000 in one ugly such laptop!!
