
Motorola recently introduced two new phones under the MC55 series. These new handset are the smallest and lightest models to be included in the series. The MC5590 and the MC5574 are stylish-looking handsets that can provide connectivity anytime, anywhere. The first model, MC5590, is a device that costs $1,695 and comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The MC5574 also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability but aside from those, it also has GPS and wireless WAN capability. This model comes with a bigger price tag $2,395.
The MC5590 and MC5574 also have much in common. A 3.5-inch color touchscreen is built into both phones. They also have Windows Mobile 6.1 as their operating system. In addition, the Marvell XScale PXA 270 520-MHz processor powers up both phone models. A microSD card slot is available for up to 8GB of storage space aside from the 128MB of SDRAM and 256MB of flash memory. Both of them have lithium-ion battery that supports 6 hours talk time. They both have 2-megapixel camera as a built-in feature as well.
They have some differences in their physical features. The MC5590 is lighter at 11.1 oz. with 5.73 x 3.03 x 1.06-inch dimension. The MC5574 has a tiny external GSM antenna.
