Microsoft is really expanding. It is seriously taking its venture out into the world of PC peripherals. On Tuesday it announced its latest offering, the Notebook Cooling Base. No, it is not yet available; it will be out in July for $29.95. The design of this cooling base is unique. Most of the coolers available today are merely flat devices. Microsoft’s product bear is slanted ergonomically to provide a tilt to the notebook, thereby make typing a tad easier. However, it’s not that bulky being only 1.16-inch thick. It also comes with a USB that must be plugged into the notebook to obtain power.
