Are you getting tired of hearing about touch screen mobile devices? Well, I sure hope not because they are the future! The latest touch screen you must not forget to check out is the LG Versa. If it’s rumored to be another iPhone competitor, then it’s definitely worth checking out, right? This new touch screen mobile sports an animated 3-inch LCD TFT 480 x 240 touch screen. It also has an attachable QWERTY keypad for the convenience of people who are not used to touch screen manipulation.
According to its maker, the new LG Versa can be personalized for messaging. The home screen alone can be changed into a 3-D interface or if the user desires he can change it into any of the three home screens available. Making this 3-D capability possible is the built-in accelerometer that rotates the screen from portrait to landscape automatically. A 2.0-megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot with up to 16GB support, and Bluetooth are some of its other offerings.
The touch screen LG Versa will be available in stores on March 1. It will be available under Verizon Wireless for $199.99 after a $50 rebate and a 2-year contract. It will come with the provider’s Wireless V Cast Music with Rhapsody and V Cast Video services.
