Nintendo fanatics who are living in the American and the European continents will rejoice to know that the new Nintendo DSi will be launched in these areas soon. April 3 is the slated date for the European debut and April 5 for the United States launch. The DSi for the U.S. will cost $169.99 and will be available in blue or black colors. For Europe, the colors available are black and white.

Compared to the DS Lite, the Nintendo DSi is considerably thinner and has a larger, brighter 3.25-inch screen. Aside from that, this third version of portable video game device is integrated with 2 cameras. One of them is found at the external body whole the other is pointed at the user when the device is flipped open. These cameras offer a new dimension to gamers interaction because they have 10 interactive lenses that enable the user to get and control images.

Another excellent feature of the DSi is the much-improved Nintendo DSi Sound application. Through this software, users can make recordings or play music at the same time. It comes with various audio filters and controls for altering music of voice recording files.
