This is just a thought, you can agree or disagree. Maybe handset makers really want to take digital camera makers out of business… I say this because there are new handsets produced today that makes carrying a separate digital camera totally useless. Take the new Samsung Memoir or the SGH-T929. At first glance you’ll really think it’s purely a digital camera. If I’m right it is the first U.S. phone to have the highest camera pixel count… 8-megapixels! What makes its camera even more amazing are the Xenon flash, CMOS auto-focus, and face-smile detection technology.
After taking amazingly crisp pictures, they can be immediately uploaded to Flickr, Photobucket, Snapfish, and Kodak Gallery. This is possible because Samsung Memoir works with T-Mobile’s 3G network. It doesn’t have Wi-Fi though.
But, enough of its camera side; Samsung Memoir is still a handset equipped with a large touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, expandable memory through microSD slot. A music and video player is also included in its features.
Is the Samsung Memoir attractive enough for you? Think you’ll buy one? By the way it costs $399 or $149.99 with a contract at T-Mobile, that is if you live in the U.S.
Yeah, I've a Sammy and it's the most reliable phone I've had yet (sony erissons and a LG). I think they've the most BEAUTIFUL phones too! Would I get this one? Maybe not... attractive enoough? Yeah!
