You have total control as to who knows your location and what particular location you want them to. Your picture appears on the map, pinpointing your actual location, if you decide to let a particular someone know where you are.

For the meantime, Google Latitude doesn’t work on all handsets. It only runs on RIM’s Blackberry and those that have Symbian S60 or Microsoft’s Windows Mobile. Google is positive that before long it will also work on Apple’s iPhone and iTouch.
