Are you looking for a replacement or maybe an addition to your home entertainment system? Samsung recently unveiled the new HT-BD8200. This sound bar home theater system is the upgraded version of the HT-X810T that made its first appearance at the 2008 CES. As a new version the HT-BD8200 gets a Blu-ray player which is a big improvement from the built-in DVD player in the HT-X810T.
Aside from that, this new theater system is BD-Live compatible and can stream Netflix movies and Pandora online music. Its Wi-Fi ready but you need a Samsung USB dongle to have wireless access. If you don’t have it you can’t access BD-Live, Netflix, and Pandora.
Other added goodies are the USB port and Bluetooth that support your other music and imaging devices. There’s even an iPod dock for a familiar music experience. It comes with wireless subwoofer in addition to the virtual 5.1 surround sound.
Though it’s been unveiled Samsung hasn’t placed a price tag to it yet.
