Nokia Unveils Powerful N97 Touchscreen

Nokia N97

Here’s another cutie and sophisticated gadget by Nokia – the new N97! It’s the latest model to be unveiled under the N-series. I guess by unveiling this high-tech phone Nokia is ending the year with a big bang. The said phone was unveiled at the Nokia World event held in Barcelona.
Up front is a 3.5-inch touchscreen with 360x640 resolution, full QWERTY keyboard, and a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash. The 32 GB onboard memory is more than enough for storing numerous files you need to take with you on the go. This Symbian-based multimedia also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The N976 is more advanced than previous N-series models as it will include A-GPS sensors and electronic compass that’s useful in automatically updating your social networks. It provides easy access to various social networking sites and the Web browser supports Flash videos. Aside from that, it is also highly compatible with Nokia’s Ovi Internet services – Mokia Maps, Nokia Music Store, and the N-Gage gaming platform.

Nokia is sure proud of its new offering. Jonas Geust, Vice President, heading Nokia Nseries said, “From the desktop to the laptop and now to your pocket, the Nokia N97 is the most powerful, multi-sensory mobile computer in existence.” Highly advanced and superbly stylish, what more can you want? The N97 will reach stores in 2009 with $690 as its estimated price.
