Dell takes courage in making another music player. Hmm, some people are already skeptical about the wisdom of this undertaking. Haven’t they learned their lesson with their previous venture into the music player business? I guess Dell just believes in taking risks. Last year Dell bought Zing, a small music software company. Zing is the company that released a new concept design in 2006 that enables Wi-Fi streaming inside a portable media player. So, it is highly likely that Dell’s new player will have strong Wi-Fi streaming capabilities.
Dell Develops Portable Music Player…Again
There is also a big chance that Dell’s new music player could work with one of the newest music stores Rhapsody. But if not, Dell might just create its own music service. The device sports a small navigation screen and fundamental button controls for scrolling through the music play lists. This latest Dell music player would probably be sold at a price below $100.
At this time this music player from Dell is still under development. I’m sure that folks at Dell are keeping their fingers crossed that this time their music device would gain approval from the market.
