Samsung is not yet content with the P318+ phone that it has produced for this year’s Olympics. The company once again unveils a new Olympic phone – the SGH-D780 DuoS. It’s going to be more gold for this year’s Olympics since this latest phone is gold-plated again. To be functional, this phone is built with a 2.1-inch QVGA screen for viewing messages and for browsing the internet. This phone has a 2-megapixel camera for taking impromptu pictures. FM radio is also included to keep you entertained while on the go. Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and microSD card slot are also provided.
As a triband phone, the SGH-D780 DuoS has GSM 900/1800/1900 GPRS/EDGE connectivity. At first glance you won’t know that it’s an Olympic phone unless you look at the back because that is where the Olympic logo is placed. They should have made the logo bigger because it’s barely noticeable.
Anyway, the Russian Team has already chosen the SGH-D780 DuoS to be its official phone for the event.
