Remember that Sony Ericsson chose Maria Sharapova to be the face of its global brand? They have a four-year contract. And yesterday, they launched what I’m sure would be the first of the many products with the “Maria Sharapova Design Collection.”

Maria Sharapova said she is very happy working with the company. “Working on this collection was an opportunity that I could not turn down,” was the statement she made yesterday at the launch.

The collection looks exciting, especially with the new Sony Ericsson T303. From what Maria said about the phone, it is a stylish looking handset that can be used as a music device as well as communication device at the same time. Aside from the handset, some accessories are also included in the collection. These are the tennis Courtside Case, compact Exercise Case,Party Bag, and the Travel Wallet. All of these accessories look great. Colors range from pink, silver to black.

You can’t get your hands on these goodies until the third quarter of this year. But they’ll be worth watching out for I’m sure!
