Netflix subscribers now have another option if they want to get movies in a faster manner. Instead of delivery via postal service, Netflix has come up with a device that lets users download and watch movies straight to their TV sets. The new device only costs $99! Very affordable compared to Apple TV. With this device, subscribers can watch movies and shows on the spot. And the great thing is that they won’t pay beyond the subscription fee. The device is also easy to set up with the TV, so it won’t be a hassle.
This said device will come on sale on Tuesday, so by then the approximately 8.2 million Netflix subscribers can avail of it. It is a very handy device, no worry lugging it about as it is only about the size of paperback. Netflix is in partnership with a small company in Silicon Valley known as Roku. It is also said that this is only the first of the many devices that will serve as a medium for getting Netflix movies onto the TV sets. With this new device out and catering to their valued subscribers, Netflix expects its revenues to shoot up this year.
