Google is now really expanding on its social networking initiative. The company recently launched the Google Friend Connect service which takes social networking and information transfer a level higher. Actually, this new service is aimed for anyone who owns a blog or website. By adding Google Friend Connect to your site you can make your blog more interactive as other users can leave comments and reviews. So, how is this added? Simple. You just have to give the required data and a resulting code will appear. Copy this code into your site and you’ll immediately have a sign-in system installed.

The most beneficial thing about Friend Connect is the member’s gadget. Other users can sign in to the Friend Connect icon in your site through Google, AOL, Instant Messenger, Yahoo and other accounts. Once they are in, they can interact with the different applications you have in your site. All users can share information by just using one account.

I think Google Friend Connect is a cool feature to use. Although in the long run, it will not only be me and you who will benefit from this, but Google as well as this will probably attract more traffic to their site.
