Are you ready for Doom? You should be as id Software is showing indications that a 4th installment in the Doom game series is up and close. Well, it is not actually an announcement of the game release; rather, the announcement said that the company has started working on the new game. However, it is clear that the announcement is not focused on the game but on the call for talented people who can help work on the game. In short, it’s a job ad! But at least id Software is moving its butt to provide something new for their gamers.

Maybe there are still some of you out there who are not familiar with Doom. Doom is a shooter type of game that is played on a first-person point of view. It can either be a single player or as a multiplayer game. With this rumored Doom 4, it is still unclear as to what platform it will be compatible. Most likely it will also now be available not only on the PC but also on the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
