Skype Launches Affordable Call Plan

Unlimited calls, anyone? Maybe you’d like the new service that Skype is now offering for the public. This is in the form of an unlimited international calls service to landline connections as well as some mobile phones. For a monthly fee as low as $9.95, subscribers can now make unlimited international calls. Yes, this new service targets almost 34 countries; to name some we have Australia, China, Chile, Canada, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and European countries. Personally, I think this is a great and beneficial offer from Skype; for just an affordable fee you can now connect internationally.

Prior to this offer, Skype already offers free PC-to-PC calls that as long as the users have a mic, headset or video connections they can already converse. There’s also the SkypeIn and SkypeOut service. But, this new offer just takes calls another level higher. Skype came up with this new service to give a chance to the Skype community to reach their friends and relatives who are not yet on Skype. Of course, there’s no need to mention that together with this purpose is the company’s aim to further boost its profits.
