Toshiba Dynabook SS RX

Toshiba has something new that will make you stand in amazement. Unlike Apple’s MacBook Air and Lenovo’s ThinkPad X300, the Toshiba Dynabook SS RX notebook is not thin, but mind you this provides something that is more crucial than good looks. The Dynabook SS RX is a very competitive notebook that carries within its system an 80GB standard hard drive and an optional 128GB SSD. This optional storage capacity is a far cry from the 64GB SSD of the MacBook Air and ThinkPad X300. Those who want a massive storage space will definitely go for this, so it will be a big help for the sales of this notebook.

And aside from the storage capacity, Toshiba’s Dynabook SS RX runs on a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U7600 processor and 2GB memory. Furthermore, this 12.1-inch notebook boasts of an optical drive. This new notebook promises approximately 6 hours of battery life, that’s if you use the hard drive. If you choose to use the flash drive you can get 12.5 hours from the battery. But you must know that this is on the costly side, $4,000. It will be available in Japan next month.
