Aside from Blogger, WordPress is another site I know that offers free blog hosting. I only know about WordPress, browsed some blogs there but I can’t say that I’m familiar with how it works. And with an updated version coming maybe I won’t be able to catch up. In fact a test blog for the WordPress 2.5 is already available. If you want to take a test drive you only have to log in on the site using “admin” as the user name and “demo” as password. Trying out the test blog will give you the feel of this new version with its new features.

I checked out the demo site myself. It can be a real playground for a hardcore blogger. I don’t know if a person who’s new to blogging will find it easy. Speaking for myself, some devices were easy like the posting and adjustments of the design. I couldn’t figure out how to add widgets in the sample blog. But if you’re already a WordPress user, this will be a breeze for you. Try out the demo site before its release on March 10.
