Nokia Morph Concept

We have to commend Nokia’s untiring resolve in bringing new communication technology to the market. The new Nokia products getting so much buzz these last few days is the Morph Concept. Mind you, this is still a phone concept, very much still on its embryonic stage but as you can see it’s getting so much publicity already. And you know what? Nokia’s Morph concept phone was given the benefit of a full-length write-up in the New York Times. It is also exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art located in the Big Apple.

So, what’s so amazing about this concept? Well, if it pushes through, Morph will be the very first handset that can be worn in whichever way you wish because of its flexible features. It will be made using stretchable and bendable nanotechnology. According to Nokia, nanotechnology is the way to have flexible and transparent electronics. It is foreseen that it can become the standard material for future technological devices.

Nokia is not alone in developing this new concept. The company is working alongside UK’s Cambridge University. They have been working at it since March. Nokia hopes to incorporate nanotechnology in all of the devices it will develop.
