Nokia has a new toy offered on the market, the N96 which is said to be the successor of the famous N95. After some weeks of having this handset’s information circulating around the web, we finally have it official. Made more stylish and more feature-filled than its predecessor, the Nokia N96 is of a slider design that has backlit buttons on the top portion. Sliding the phone will reveal the full keypad. Aside from that, it also features a huge has a 2.8-inch screen perfect for its various applications. But you know what the most mouth-watering feature of this phone is? It’s none other than the 16GB of internal memory that is double the capacity of the N95 which only holds 8GB memory. And there’s even an SD card slot for more storage.

Other features also include the DVB-H Tuner that facilitates live TV broadcasting so users can watch TV shows on this handset. Viewing videos is made more convenient and enjoyable since this supports MPEG4 and Windows Media Video and Flash. Connecting to the internet is made via USB 2.0 connection, LAN and HSDPA. Furthermore, the N96 has built-in 3D stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone connector and 5-megapixel camera.

The N96 costs around 550 euros.
