SanDisk’s New Flash Drive Comes with Online Backup Service

Flash drives are already aplenty these days so a newly released flash drive has to contain a unique feature in order to get noticed. Well, with SanDisk, the name alone is enough to stir interest, and what more with the unique capability offered by their new Cruzer Titanium Plus USB flash drive. We all know that flash drives are used for storing documents, photos, etc., and that these data just stays there unless you choose to delete or transfer it. Aside from storage function, the Cruzer Titanium Plus USB is also capable of automatically backing up the digital data to the Internet. Backing up will made through a web service offered by BeInSync Company.

SanDisk’s new Cruzer Titanium Plus will come with a price tag of $59.99. Its 4GB capacity is enough for storing any important documents that you might have. BeInSync will only back up 4GB of data per product, and this service will be free for the first 6 months. And if you want to continue to avail of the online storage service you’ll have to pay a $29.99/year. For their storage service BeInSync makes use of Amazon’s S3 storage service that charge them for a fee making it necessary for BeInSync to charge a certain fee as well. To make use of the service, the user will be required to make an initial registration and after that the data will automatically sync in with the service.

SanDisk has a good reason behind this undertaking and that is to protect users from deleting files by accident. This Cruzer Titanium Plus USB flash drive as the first of its kind will be available for the market in March.
