Microsoft is always watching out for consumer satisfaction. In order to make clients even more satisfied with their Windows application the company is making available the Windows Feedback Program. This program could be very beneficial to users because it will enable them to link up with the Windows product team for any input and questions. And these consumer inputs will be used for the further improvement of Microsoft’s offerings. But take note that when you join, Microsoft has the right to keep track of things you do in your computer for a period of 3 months. What becomes of your privacy?
This Windows Feedback Program will come in two forms – the survey feedback program and the automated feedback program. In the survey feedback program there will be one survey at the beginning and then one more in 2 weeks interval. If you don’t have the inclination towards surveys then the automated feedback would be best because this can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes.
However, there are rules or restrictions about those who can join this program. This is according to Microsoft’s site:
• Participation is currently limited to US residents of 18 years and older.
• You are the owner of the computer you use for this program.
• The automated feedback program is offered to Windows Vista and Windows XP customers only.
• The survey feedback program applies to all versions of Windows.
• Microsoft, comScore and MarketTools employees are not eligible to participate.
You’re probably wondering what you’ll get when you participate in the program. You can have a free pack of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate, Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007, Microsoft Money Plus Premium, Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008 and Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008. All of these are for free when you participate. Think you want to?
