Through Orange Telecom France residents will be able to avail of the standalone iPhone for a slightly lower price than what is being offered by neighboring country Germany. This much-envied multimedia device is now being offered by Orange for $964. This smartphone without the service plan is Orange’s response to the population’s clamor for a more affordable iPhone. There are already 12 Orange stores in France offering the iPhone without the service plan. This is quite convenient for fans that want the iPhone for a more affordable price.
Part of the unlocked iPhone is a feature called visual voicemail service that provides users to access voicemails and even hear messages without needing to listen to the old messages. To go with the iPhone offered by Orange, 4 kinds of long-range plans are also available. The user can choose from $73 up to $177 charge a month.
However, prior to Orange’s move, various resellers including Phone & Phone, not to mention the gray market, have already provided the unlocked iPhones.
