Rumors, rumors, rumors! Yet there’s another one, this time the object is Nintendo. It says that there’s a third edition of the Nintendo DS coming up, but as to when there’s still no word. According to the rumor the new DS is already finished but Nintendo is still holding out on its release. It’s like Nintendo is playing a waiting game. The Nintendo DS Lite is still doing very well in terms of sales so it’s very likely that this third edition of the DS will be unleashed when the DS Lite’s sales have waned already.

Some of the features of this rumored DS have already been revealed as well. The source of this rumor is fairly reliable. The source is an analyst of Pacific Crest Securities by the name of Evan Wilson. The features include thinner, larger screens as well as fitted storage. Aside from that it will also come minus the Game Boy Advance port.

Since the DS Lite is still making waves, it’s going to be a while before its for real or just a wisp of air.
