Pantech A1407PT

No one can deny that communication devices especially cellphones are very useful tools nowadays. You can send text messages and receive calls anytime and anywhere. For receiving calls one needs to have good ears, so that puts people with hearing problems at a big disadvantage. To rectify this need Pantech has created a handset that will cater to the needs of the hearing impaired. Pantech’s A1407PT is their newly developed phone that’s made in a clamshell design. So what makes this suited to people with hearing problems? Pantech has integrated a bone conducting technology in the phone that send out sound waves to the inner ear. It’s not actually sound that goes straight to the user’s ear but vibration.

The user only has to put the bone conduction speaker to his head. And to make a call the user has to push the key on the side. There is also the volume control on the side for regulating the sound. And aside from its bone conduction technology, the Pantech A1407PT has 2.4-inch LCD and 1.3 megapixel camera. It also has games to keep boredom away.
