Nokia N810 Internet Tablet

If you can’t have enough gizmos to make your life more enjoyable then here’s another one to add to your collection. Nokia has just announced the Nokia N810, the successor to the N800 Internet Tablet. As the successor, of course this new model sports newer features. With the N810 Internet Tablet you can look forward to the integrated GPS receiver and Wayfinder mapping software to help you navigate easily around. It also has A2DP Bluetooth support and is powered by Linux based OS 2008. Audio and video has also been improved for your viewing and listening pleasure. The keyboard is the new craze – a slide out QWERTY.

Through the Wi-Fi connectivity user can access different sites including social networking sites, video sharing sites and even make Internet calls via Skype. Video conference is also possible through Gizmo video chat since this Internet Tablet comes with a VGA camera. This device’s interface can be customized and for browsing there’s Mozilla with Ajax and Adobe Flash 9.

The Nokia N810 is made with a very attractive design. It is slightly bigger than your regular cell phone and also smaller than a notebook. It has a 4.3-inch wide touchscreen with 800x480 resolution. There’s also ample storage in this powerful and convenient device with built in 2GB memory and an optional 10GB microSD slot.

This will be out in the middle of November just in time for Christmas shopping. Make this a gift for yourself, though an expensive one as it costs $479.
