Exterior displays are common only in cell phones not in laptops. So LG seems to be starting a new trend with their newly announced laptop the LG XNOTE R200-EP76K. This new concept is also beneficial because if you need to make a quick check on your email, music, pictures and even some games installed in it you won’t have to completely boot or even open the laptop. It’s true because you can easily do these through the 2.5-inch touch-sensitive Windows SideShow LCD. This SideShow is located right on the cover and beside it are the navigation controls for your easy access. And when you flip it open you’ll have the 12.1-inch TFT display that gives 1280 x 800 resolution.

LG Electronics equipped it with a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo processor for fast launch of programs. Memory-wise the LG XNOTE R200-EP76K offers ample room with 2GB memory. It also carries 160BG of disk space for further storage. To provide clear view of graphics this laptop runs using ATI HD 2400 graphics.

For it’s appearance, it comes in stylish piano black finish. There’s still no official word on price. And at the present time the LG XNOTE-EP76K launch is exclusive in Korea.
