Verizon is very active these days. It again announces a new handset in its lineup. It is another Samsung beauty, the Gleam. Personally, I find it a very stylish phone with its black and bronze theme. And it also bears one of my personal favorites, the clamshell design. Up its front you will see a tiny display. When you flip up the phone you will behold the 240 x 220 pixels color display. And then there’s also the cool silver keypad. Those who are very particular about the design and style of their handset will definitely find the Samsung Gleam up to their standard.
This new phone is not only stylish; it also boasts great features and capabilities. First off you have the V-Cast features, both music and video. V-Cast Music allows you to download songs wirelessly and move them to the MicroSD card from any compatible source. The V-Cast Video enables video downloads and video streaming of almost any content on the web. A “Get It Now” feature is available for downloading ringtones, tones and wallpapers. Accessing web applications like MSN, Yahoo and AIM is made easy with the Mobile Web 2.0 feature.
Storage is in the form of a 4GB expandable memory with a microSD memory cad slot. The Samsung Gleam can be availed at Verizon for $149.99 with $50 mail-in refund.
