Many iPhone owners and even those who are just in the process of owning one are rejoicing for sure with the news that the iPhone has been hacked! A hacked iPhone can be used with other networks not just with AT&T, which is the currently the sole carrier. And through hacking, the iPhone can be used in other countries already, take for example in the UAE. Well, the iPhone is now being sold there but only through grey market retailers. And in order to use the phone you’d have to get a hacker and spend like $136 or 500 UAE dirhams in order to make it compatible with the networks operating there such as Etisalat and Du.
It will still be some months before the iPhone gets an official release in the UAE, so if you are from this part of the world you’ll have to wait sometime before you get your hands on the iPhone. Think you can wait? No? Well then you’d have to have it hacked! That’s if you have approximately $987…this is the amount cited by an anonymous Dubai resident – for the phone, annual contract with AT&T and the hacker’s service.
But the question… is hacking really the right solution to get an open line iPhone?
