A few weeks back there have been some buzz over a Google phone. But now there seems to be more reason to believe its development due to some photo leakage and words straight from Google’s spokesperson. This upcoming Google phone is speculated to be under development over at Google’s local research lab in Kendall Square office tower.

Rich Miner is the person behind this development. At present, Miner is still looking for entrepreneurs who would be willing to invest in its development. Though the upcoming Google phone has been more or less confirmed, still folks over at Google are not disclosing any details as to what features the phone would have or what it would really look like.

So majority of everything you see or read on the net are speculations. Phone is said to have an HTC design. For its features of course its likely that it will have Gmail and Calendar compatibility and everything that has to do with Google services you’re enjoying now. For the operating system Google could use Windows Mobile 6 or Linux. And if all falls as planned Google phone could be in your hands by Q1 2008.
