Is the 2.8GB free storage of Google no longer enough for keeping your files in? Then you can avail of Google’s new offering for added online storage… not for free but for a certain price. Called “Gdrive”, users and clients of Picasa Web Albums and Gmail can buy this extra storage. Those who want to avail can have 6GB of additional storage for $20, 25GB for $75, 100GB for $250 and up to 250GB for a corresponding $500. These storage and price range are the plans available per year. This is quite affordable since you only have to shelve out cash for the plan of your choice once a year. It’s going to be very advantageous especially if you have big files to keep online.

Aside from that, Google is also aiming to extend this application into Google Docs and Spreadsheets. As Software QA Engineer Lead, Ryan Aquino said on the Official Google Blog, “As someone who tests Google products daily, I know that the simplest solution is often the one that works best. In the case of online storage, whether it's a picture, a video or an email, you should just, well, be able to store it without having to worry about whether you've got enough space in each particular product.”
With the touted prices of the annual Google storage plans, will you take the plunge or not?
