Fujitsu is not only concerned about developing high performing and stylish desktops and laptops…their latest endeavor was recently unveiled in the form of the 231-inch TV! You got that right, 231 inches of a colossal screen! This 19-feet Fujitsu creation is called the Super Frontech Vision LD. This latest screen is the biggest so far compared to the one from Sharp and Samsung that are only along the 100-110-inches range. Though it is gigantic some of the features were sacrificed I guess since it only features 512 x 288 LED pixels resolution.
Fujitsu said that the Super Frontech Vision LD carries a full range of inputs and provide 16 million colors and has a brightness of 5000 cd/m2. As you can see, an LCD TV this huge would find it difficult to make its way into homes that is why Fujitsu targets outdoor advertising with this TV. Its colossal size has a corresponding colossal price of $520,000. And for half this amount you can have a 116-inch version.
