Apple’s New iMacs Feature Improved Software & Applications

iMac

After the iPod and the much-crazed-over iPhone, Apple unveiled a new series of iMac computers. This is to show that Apple Inc. is still on its top form when it comes to developing high quality computers. The new desktop computers come only with the 20 and 24-inch display housed in an aluminum and glass construction, which costs $1199 and $1799 respectively. Apple is now being more environment-friendly by using these recyclable substances and doing away with the plastic that they used in the previous iMacs. Comparing to its predecessors, the new iMacs are made to be slimmer and thinner. By all appearances, the new iMacs are great to look upon.

For its operation the new desktop computers are driven by Intel Core 2 Duo processors which are capable of running 2.8 GHz. Being built as an “all-in-one” desktop computer, the iMac is has 4GB memory and 1 Terabyte of storage. It already comes with web cameras and microphone so you don’t have to hunt these devices separately.

The new iMac also comes with great applications like the new versions of iLife applications, IWeb and iWork. The new iLife is quite innovative because it will make it easier for you to manage videos, photos and music. IWeb makes it easier for users to navigate and use online applications such as Google Adsense. As for the iWork, there’s a new feature called Numbers that’s aimed to attract business-oriented users.
