They say the world is getting smaller and smaller so with the gadgets that are being developed these days. We have already heard about the smallest camcorder being released, but look there’s a new one from Panasonic! The new record holder is Panasonic HDC-SD7 full HD AVCHD camcorder. It is dubbed as the smallest and the lightest since it only measures 2.05” x 4.3” x 3.4” and weighs only 290 grams. As a full HD camcorder the HDC-SD7 is capable of recording at 1920 x 1080 to SDHC cards.
It also features modified optical image stabilization and a Pre-Record function that stores three seconds-footage in cache while the main recording media starts. Controls are easily accessed as they are located in the rear such as the mode dial, joystick, menu button, Up/Down Zoom toggle, Record buttons, Auto/Manual/Focus switch including the ports. Despite its small size the design is a cute one, it’s a pistol-grip design that you’ll love.
For the meantime the Panasonic will be shipping only in Japan, no news for the US. It will see for about $1181 or ¥140,000.
