Just after 4 days of the launch, the stores carrying the iPhone ran out of supply! Talk about its exceptional success! Previously it was mentioned that iPhone has a price of $3000, but its official price is actually $599, and with this price a lot of fanatics were able to get hold it before it ran out.

But do you know that even before the iPhone supply ran out, some of the people who were lucky enough to acquire the iPhone were already advertising to re-sell it. A lot of ads showed up in on ebay, re-selling the iPhone for $1,000! That is $400 more than the official price. And there were also some who had the audacity to re-sell for $2,000. However, these re-sellers did not succeed in their profiteering scheme. The sale is just starting out, it’s expected that Apple would sell 4.5 million units, and 30 million units by 2011.
