Dell’s Latitude D420 will be getting an upgrade by July 2 with the release of the new Latitude D430. Unlike some of Dell’s new notebooks that already operate using Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, the new D430 will use the Napa platform that made its debut in January 2006. But aside from that, this new Latitude will be able to hand over the deliverables since it features two options for you in the Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 (1.2GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB) or the Intel Core Solo U1400 processor. Likewise, it sports an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 that powers its 12.1 widescreen display.
Being a business ultraportable it’s important for a PC to have a hefty memory and that is what is being offered by the Latitude D430 as it supports up to 2GB of system memory together with its DDR2 RAM modules. With regards to connectivity the Dell Latitude D430 is equipped with Ethernet LAN coupled with a 56k modem, Intel 4965 802.11a/b/g/n wireless and an elective wireless broadband connectivity.
