Technology really makes entertainment better and ore convenient than before. One of the gizmo trends that we usually hear about these days is Bluetooth. But Bluetooth is typically used in relation to cell phones so maybe this new Bluetooth Speaker System will come as a surprise to you. Through Philips’ Bluetooth Speaker system music lovers can do away with the bothersome cables. Why? Well the new BTM628 and BTM630 allow streaming from Bluetooth cell phones or portable media player as it supports A2DP Bluetooth streaming. More features of these speaker units include full duplex speakerphone with built-in mic and Caller ID display.

Philips has not yet disclosed the full specs of these new units. What we can gather is that the BTM628 has a Bluetooth-powered iPod dock and the BTM630 with iPod-charging iPod dock together with the SD/MMC slot for playing music stocked in media cards. Price is said to be $149 for the BTM628 and $199 for the BTM630.
