
Sony has something new in-store for its consumers upon the update of the Bravia LCD TVs. Bravia now includes in its line-up the 40’, 46” and the 52” TV sets. The models to watch out for are the XBR5, XBR4 and the W series that all feature the same 1920 x 1080 pixels or 10 bit panels. Highlights that will surely lure TV-holics are the Bravia Theater Sync, Cross Media Bar and the Sony Digital Media Extender (DMEX). You might be wondering what these features can do. Well, the Theater Sync allows hassle-free multimedia viewing.
The DmeX on the other hand allows the use of Bravia Internet Video Link module for an easy access over the Internet as well as gain access over HD content from AOL, Yahoo and Grouper.
Though the models have some similar features, they still have qualities distinct in themselves, like for the W series is the brushed metal frame bezel, Live Color Creation Technology, Color Technology and the BRAVia Engine EX video. The XBR4 and XBR5 are made with glass frame, Motionflow and Bravia Engine pro circuitry. New Bravia model will ship in August with price ranging from $2,700 to $5,100.
