D: All Things Digital Conference coordinated by Wall Street Journal has taken place recently with two well-known names in the technological world – Bill Gates for Microsoft and Steve Jobs for Apple This is the very first time that these two have shared the same stage as they got interviewed by hosts Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. During the interview Jobs and Gates showed how each one has contributed to the development of the world of technology.

Based on their statements, each one recognizes the vast contribution the other has done with no sign rivalry because in fact these two have a special developer relationship. In the course of the interview there were also some recalls on the early history of their respective companies, its struggles and how they surpassed them.

They also discussed some of the advertisements doled pout by each company. After some time they came to talk about some of the new products. Generally, the whole interview opened a deeper perspective on the role of Microsoft and Apple in the technological industry both in the years that passed as well as in the years to come.
