A new laptop from Toshiba has been dubbed as the thinnest laptop to contain a disc drive since it is only a mere 0.77-inches thick. The Toshiba Portege R500 series is now Toshibas pride and joy, which they labeled as “The Ultimate Ultraportable”. Toshiba has really upped the ante even further with their new creation, a creation that replaces its predecessor, the R400. This new Toshiba laptop series will be out in the market by July this year. And aside from being the thinnest with a disc drive, it will also be the lightest as it only weighs 1.72 pounds.
