Samsung is one of the world-renowned developers of hardware and software in the world of technology. And now Samsung has come up with a 4GB multi-chip memory package that is aimed for use in mobile phones. This new chip is called “moviMCP”. This package has a NAND flash memory inside it that is referred to as the moviNAND. When used in the production of handsets, cell phone manufacturers will be able to do away with the card slot and the interface software. Doing so will make the production process faster.

This new 4GB “moviMCP” chip is expected to make mobile phones better than before. As Samsung Director of Flash Marketing Jim Elliot said, “We’ve now perfected a memory chip that allows handset manufacturers to significantly reduce development time while deploying an extremely robust design that will result in higher performance for smaller phones, with higher storage capacities.”
