If you had he chance to try the Gigabeat V that Toshiba introduced last year then the new Gigabeat V models would be a welcome addition. The new Gigabeat V offers better and newly improved features as compared to its predecessor. Though the Gigabeat V801 is not that beautiful to look upon, it still epitomizes a truly portable media center as it weighs just 8.6 ounces and 9.3 ounces for the 40GB and the 80GB models. A good thing about the Gigabeat is that it has a big 4-inch screen with 480 x 272 pixels featuring built-in brightness sensor for automatic light adjustment.
