Wii has been described by many as the best thing that’s happened to this world since sliced bread and basically consists of a wand which video gamers can use as a sword, a gun or a pogo stick depending on the game you are playing and now these amazing and revolutionary machines are nowhere to be found!

According to the president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, claims they failed to foresee the demand on the Wii and that they will be working against the clock ‘to fix this abnormal lack of stock,’! Believe me Mr Iwata is not complaining because the Japanese manufacturers of the Wii increased by 76% which is a hefty sum and this is what sparked the recent promise to increase the production!

As for how much the production will increase they refused to disclose an exact amount but he did say ‘"We will do our best to offer the machine for those who are waiting," and if the sales records are anything to go on there are a lot of people waiting so they better hurry up! Obviously these huge sales are bad news for Sony and Microsoft! Sony have only sold 1.8million Playstation 3’s and Microsoft has only sold 10 million Xbox’s so Iwata should count his lucky stars for being all sold out!
