Keeping up with the small gadget concept seems to be the trend these days. Sony is another company that is trying to keep up with it as they unveiled the three new camcorders. One of them is the HDR-CX7 camcorder, which is claimed to be the world’s smallest High-Definition camcorder, as it weighs just about 15 ounces. But even though it is small its power and capability cannot be faulted since it can record about 3 hours of “Full 1080” video using the 8-GB Memory Stick PRO Duo media Card. In order to edit and make a backup for the recordings you can connect the HDR-CX7 to the PC using the USB cable. This particular model retails for $1,200.
The other two high- definition camcorder models are the HDR-SR7 that is built-in with 60GB hard disc drive that can store more than 22 hours of full HD 1080 video. This models retails for $1,400. The third camcorder is the HDR-SR5 that can record over 15 hours of video in its 40GB hard drive. It sells for $1,100. So just maybe, if you are itching to replace the camcorder you’re using right now, Sony has these three goodies just for you.
