Technology plays a very great role in people’s everyday lives, though these companies try their best to provide safe and sound gadgets for the people, a watchdog is still needed to keep them in line. One group that accomplishes this task is Greenpeace. Recently Greenpeace released the list of companies that comply with the green credentials. We won’t dwell on which company came the first but on which came last and worst, well it is none other than Apple. It seems they have something rotten going on to deserve the last place. Based on the Guide To Greener Electronics, Apple holds back the complete list of regulated substances that they use in production.

According to the guide “Apple performs poorly on product take-back and recycling but it does report on the amounts of its electronic waste recycled."

In defense Apple also says, “We disagree with Greenpeace's rating and the criteria they chose."
