BenQ’s interest is not only limited in the production of hardware and computer stuff. Their long-standing partnership with Siemens enabled them to develop the very first mobile phone in the BenQ-Siemens Q-fi line of devices that is wherein the focal point is the it being a music phone. Being music focused, this has a multimedia player that supports MP3, AAC and WMA formats. The new BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF71 can really be quite an interesting phone. This phone was only previously available in “stellar aluminum” but now there is a new edition in favorite PINK! Only a limited edition of this version will be released and only in Taiwan.

By its design the Q-fi EF71has a flat but uniquely designed keypad. A 2 megapixel camera that has a video capability is included in the phone. Unlike other phones the Q-fi EF71’s camera offers a twist. This twist is in the versatility it offers because it can also be utilized as a webcam when joined to the PC via a USB cable. And even if you are in a poorly lit room you can take high quality photos. These pictures and messages can be viewed through the large 2.2-inch internal display having 26k colors.
